Is UENI cheaper than InkySites?
Not over a year. UENI's Website Launch plan is $79 to set up plus $24.99 a month, which is $378.88 in the first year, and its done-for-you edits stop after 30 days. The Plus plan keeps them going at $59 a month, which is $787 in the first year. InkySites is $348 a year with no setup fee and no cap on changes. UENI's monthly headline is the lower one; the first-year total is not.
Can I move my UENI website somewhere else?
Only in one case, and it's worth reading the terms before you commit. Clause 9.3 says that on cancellation or termination your licence to both the webpage and the domain name ends immediately. Clause 9.4 lets you ask for the domain registration to be transferred to you beforehand, on payment of a transfer fee. Section 13 covers the site itself: if UENI built you a Wix site, the transfer is free after six months and $500 before that. Clause 1.17 says UENI chooses the platform at its own discretion, so being on Wix isn't something you can count on. Terms read 8 September 2026.
Does UENI keep making changes for me?
For 30 days on the Website Launch plan, and then you edit the site yourself. Unlimited done-for-you edits forever are on the Plus plan at $59 a month. With InkySites there's one price and the changes are uncapped and never time-limited, a full redesign included.
